Deciding When to Move On

When is it time to move on with a business?

Ever wonder when it is time to move on from a business enterprise that you have started? Maybe it is just not the right fit for you, maybe you have decided you don’t like working your own business, or maybe you are just not able to commit the time and effort to it.

As you know, I have two businesses at the moment which has not been a conflict nor do I see it becoming one. The problem for me comes with deciding if Vitamark is really for me, don’t get me wrong I love my up-line and team they are great people with incredible dreams and successes. The problem for me starts with the product. I don’t like the “flagship product” not that is a bad product it just doesn’t do anything for me.  The implied motto is we do not sell products we sell opportunity which for some is fine, but I need to love the products to be able to sell someone on the idea that this company will work for them. Again, the hard part is I really like the company but after a month and a week, I still have no one in my down-line and I have worked a minimum of 12 hours a week on the phone. I am tired and burned out on calling and calling and calling without any response. Maybe I need to change my approach, try a different line if marketing, something. All I know is that something needs to change and soon!

My other company is Avon and though I am not making a killing at it, I do make some extra cash from my Avon sales. I am slowly building this business with just a moderate amount of effort. More one on one and face to face and that works well for me.

I am still investigating another company and have joined it to try the products, there are some incredible success stories from their weight-loss plan and I need to lose some weight so I am going to start there and see what happens. Feel free to check it out, www.7in9.isagenix.com they have been featured on ABC and FOX news, you can watch the news clips on the website. Sounds promising…

  1. I found your blog by accident, but couldn’t help replying to your post. I’ve tried a LOT of network marketing opportunities and Vitamark is BY FAR the best. I was take aback by your comment “The implied motto is we do not sell products we sell opportunity”. Vitamark pays the same compensation for having customers as it does for having business builders. Retailing with Vitamark is the best paid comp plan I’ve found. Others only pay the “big money” on recruits.

As far as the products, not everyone likes every product. I have my favorites and I have others that I’m not particularly fond of. It’s personal preference. You don’t have to like all of their products.

I’m not sure who your upline is, but please go to my website at http://www.mommyroxy.com and get the free eBook listed on the left. Plug into the Mentoring For Free system. Even if you decide not to go with Vitamark, the MFF system can help save you years of failure and frustration in this industry. This business is not about seeing how many people you can throw into the business and hope they stay. It’s about creating relationships and helping others. Even though you are not in my organization, I would be happy to help you if you need it.

    Have a wonderful day!!!

  2. PS – I have lost quite a few pounds with the appetizer diet and can’t wait until they come out with the reformulated version.
